NFL legend Troy Aikman rips ‘inactive’ Cowboys large receivers then blowout loss

Aikman has robust phrases concerning the crew.

“I think they run terrible routes,” the three-time Tremendous Bowl champion mentioned in an interview on 96.7 The Ticket in Dallas. “And I’ve thought that beyond this year. I think CeeDee has got to improve in his route running. As a quarterback, if you’re not certain where guys are going to be consistently, it’s hard to play the position. That’s what I see.

“I see guys inactive coming off the series of scrimmage. Every now and then they run, typically in the event that they do, it’s as a result of they’re expecting they’re committing to get the soccer on that play games, but when they’re now not, they don’t. And all of it ties in combination. I’m now not inspired with that a part of it.”

Aikman suggested that it makes it tougher on Dak Prescott if the quarterback doesn’t know how the routes are going to be run.

Dallas will have an extra week to get the offense sorted as the team has a bye week in Week 7.
