All Madison County commissioners searching for reelection on Tuesday



MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A number of native workplaces will probably be to your poll on Tuesday, together with contributors of the Madison County Fee.

The incumbent applicants on this race have spent years operating in combination at the county fee.

First-term District 1 Commissioner Tom Brandon has spent 40 years dwelling and dealing in his district.

“I feel like I know the needs of District 1,” Brandon stated. “District 1 is one of the fastest growing areas in Madison County right now, and we have several large projects that we’re working on that I’d like to see through to completion.”

Since being elected in 2012, District 2 Commissioner Steve Haraway stated he has been construction relationships with leaders in Huntsville, Madison and Triana.

“I understand what the needs are,” Haraway stated. “I’ve been doing this for the last three terms, and I’m very familiar with the problems we’ve got, and I’m also familiar with what we need to do to grow and make Madison County better.”

District 4 Commissioner Phil Vandiver has additionally served 12 years at the fee, operating on initiatives in his district.

“We’ve still got a lot of work to do. We’ve still got to work in out communities and improve our rec centers and improve everything,” Vandiver stated. “We’re looking to make sure we can take Madison County forward and make it better in the future.”

District 5 Commissioner Phil Riddick has been part of the fee since 2011, and he has impaired that have to paintings on initiatives, just like the enhancements coming to Ditto Touchdown.

“Just work experience outside of the commission, being in the commercial real estate business for 17 years, I kind of know what people are looking for, developers and things like that, important things that come up in the county,” Riddick stated.

“I ask for the community to vote for me because I have worked tirelessly over last four years,” Edwards stated. “I will continue to serve with honor and integrity, and together, working with the community, we can continue to make great strides.”
